About Me

Hey y'all! My name is Emily, I am 25 years old, and I am from North Carolina. I am a third-year medical student (meaning I am more than halfway to getting my MD!) planning on going into Anesthesiology, where I can advocate for patients when they are at their most vulnerable, and I can strive to be the kind of anesthesiologist I was lucky enough to have before my brain surgery. 

Now that I'm a little less "in recovery" and a lot less sick than I was pre-surg, I enjoy running, HIIT dance classes, crafting, watching UFC, going to the beach, listening to music (R&B and rap are my favorites), and trying every kind of sour candy I can find. I can talk for forever about absolutely nothing, and my two favorite people in the world are my dad and my little sister.
